Who's Ur Favourite Guitarist/main Influence?

I see them as one though, because its one sound. You can't have one without the other. Great rhythms and great leads, what more could you ask for? I never understood why Hammett's lead playing gets bashed. Is it because its not super technical? I think thats the reason why I like it, because its saying more with less.
