I noticed we dont have a Metallica lesson, and suggest we get one soon.
This really hit me when i looked at the enter Hammetland collab.
It sounds great and we need a lesson like that... SOON!!!

Here is a Kirk Hammett lesson from Kris you might like if you haven't seen it already.

But another Metallica lesson couldn't hurt too

I agree, but must be old school! Maybe even an Exodus lesson.

a Metallica lesson would be good if it was in the same vein as "The 4 Horsemen" but if its similar to the St.Anger stuff I will give it a miss!!

I have seen the Kirk Hammett lesson, but its too hard for me...
And i want a lesson thats just a piece, not a whole bunch
of different licks.

In the style of Metallica would sure be great, but what type of lesson? Riffing? Soloing?
Posted by: Batista Apr 30 2008, 05:59 PM
Riffing from the Master of Puppets album would be cool in my opinion

well hello gmc forum, i signed up today and this is my first forum post. I've been reading many but this topic really stuck out cause it was exactly what i was thinking after i finished browsing all 12 pages of "in the style of". Don't get me wrong there is truly plenty to keep me busy for quite a while but i was shocked not to see anything metallica related other than some insane kirk hamette solo stuff (maybe one day, not quit there
). Can someone please do a metallica lesson that is not to difficult but something that the friends could be impressed by.
Thank you for this great site, i've played for about 8 hours straight since i signed up and i already feel that i have gotten better, who know's what i could accomplish in a few months!
