been a member here for a moth or so. don't really browse the forums much. anyways.....

i've been playing guitar for over 10 years now but never really took it seriously. I am trying now to improve. The lessons i've practiced here have helped me improve greatly. I'm starting to practice with a metronome all the time now. It's been helping allot but i still have allot of bad habits to get rid of. Lately i've been using pavel's ionian speed picking lesson as a warm up. Just play it slow a few times while increasing the metronome slightly every time through. For those of you without the funds to get a metronome check out this site: Metronome Online

I'm also getting much more serious about writing music with my friend. We are called Dustbunny Nation. You can check out our stuff here: Dustbunny nation Myspace

Hopefully our site will be up soon here: Dustbunny Nation

Unfortunately non of our recordings have me playing guitar due to me and my friend living nearly 300 miles apart. We are intending to head into a studio shortly to record a 4 song demo.

Welcome to the boards.

I am a bloody newbie, never had a guitar in hands before, but GMC has helped me to get a pretty cool start with basic knowledge i´ll need in the future.

Thx for showing the metronome online.

Thomas

Ps: "Rachels Song" reminds me ab bit to the "Smashing Punmpkins"... I like this song.
