If everything is true what they say I would consider buying it. Of course I would have to try it first. Floyd Rose and Les Paul is good combination if done properly.

Looks like an awesome guitar, being a custom I guess it will be quite pricey too.

I've seen previous LPs with FLs and didn't like it that much, but this one looks pretty smooth to me. Great guitar indeed.

A Les Paul with a Floyd Rose?
It looks funny, but sounds like it would be an amazing instrument! Thanks for sharing biggrin.gif

LP's dont need Floyds IMO,it also doesnt blend in with the stylings that well too.floyds should only come on pointy headed guitars

Me neither!
That would be blasphemy. laugh.gif

A Bigsby, on the other hand ... wink.gif

A Gibson LP would not be what it is if it weren't for it's sustain, it's overall sound.
A FR would make it sound a lot thinner.. dry.gif

QUOTE ("Steve Vai")
Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.

I think the floyd Rose trem is a must for the likes of Ibanez guitars and such, but never on a Gibson. I have an Ibanez rg370 with a floating bridge (edge pro I think) and I recently bought a genuine second hand Gibson LP special from ebay for £500. They are two completely different guitars in their own right and I would personally prefer to keep it that way.

i love it especially the new neck, but i wish it had a pick guard but i guess that would conflict with the FR.

I love les Paul sound, but even on high end LP I'd say that's not very easy play compared to top fenders or Ibanez. dry.gif

If this one is really that nice to play, it would be a dream guitar!

A floyd with anything works for me.

But, I think gibson Is probably just trying to get some more attention from the more metal players by adding a floyd.
