> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! It's great to follow this process of learning my lessons. smile.gif This one still needs more work to be mastered. The first thing that I have to say is that your guitar seems to be a bit our of tune and this makes everything much more difficult to play and also to judge by me. The reason is that the main thing to improve on this take is the pitch of your bends and this can be also conditioned by your guitar's tuning. Besides that there are some little sections with timing issues (a bit late) that seems to appear just because you need to play the lesson for more days.

So the two things to work are: bending and timing.

Keep on the hard work! wink.gif

Hey mate! I agree with Gabe on his observations and I suggest you check the guitar before recording. wink.gif Those bends are JUST a bit under the tone, so also pay attention to those. Playing this lesson a few more times, while paying attention to the pitches and perfectly syncing with the drums, will definitely bring the success wink.gif

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

Very good take. I really like your tone.

As Gab and Cosmin said, work on your bending so you can nail the pitch a bit more accurately. Timing is always important to phrasing so spend the time (haha, get it ?) with that aspect as well smile.gif
