There is not much for me to say about myself. I am 58 years old and just started teaching myself how to play the guitar in the past year, and need alot of help to improve on my playing. I am not trying to learn to join a band or anything like that but what I am trying to learn is for me to be able to play on our worship team at church. I hope this is a place that will allow me to ask question and sometimes they might be dumb question at times. Thanks for the time

Welcome to GMC,the lessons here will deffinitely get you going when it comes to learning guitar, and when you do have a question people ussually always have an answer, ive found many people around here are very nice and dont mind being helpful.

Smells hit the nail on the head. I felt the same about questions that I felt were dumb. Especially because 99% of the people here know more than me. Everyone here is top notch and more than willing to help.

Thanks for the welcome and I am looking forward to playing guitar with the help that I can receive in here. If I have a question where do I post them such as what is the best way of playing scales is it in a box pattern or do you play outside of the box and how do you do this.
