> IS THAT YOUR MAMA?

Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.

I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:

* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!

* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.

* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.

* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.

* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.

* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?

* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

Hey mate! Welcome to your personal, mentoring thread - I would very much like to begin by asking you if you have any recordings of yourself, as this would help me out on figuring out where you are at and where we could start from smile.gif

Hey there mate - I listened to the song and I must say you did a great job. In my opinion what you need to do now, in order for you to evolve, is tighten your rhythm skills and enrich your vocabulary as a guitarist and musician.

So, I think that exploring will help out a lot smile.gif When I think of exploring, I mean, tackling various rhythm and lead based lessons which you should understand first and then learn and record as close to perfection as possible. The next step would be to apply what you have learned in a lesson in a personal musical context.

How does this sound to you?

Oh yes!! That one! Thanks for reminding me mate tongue.gif I also want to learn how to play it and maybe it will be the next piece I perform alongside the orchestra. That ballad is a bit tricky due to the bends and articulation elements in general. I am really curious to see your recordings of these lessons!

If you got any questions on the side wink.gif Please do ask!

As hard as I try, doesnt really sound good... i think there is a program filtering the sound to suppress ambient noise (a.k.a. my guitar) :/

Hey bud! Way to go! I think that the recoding sounded decent enough so that I may hear your playing well and you played very good! Looks like you don't have an issue with this sort of grooving smile.gif Let's see how you fare on the one with bends and then I will throw another ball of rhythm in your court!

Thanks! maybe in a month or 2 i'll be able to afford another sound card for recording since mine is'nt supported by Windows7 (fuck you, m-audio!). I was thinking of the Line 6 Pod ux2 since the price is not too bad. If you know anything cheaper that works well (~ 200$ CAN), please let me know!

As for the B minor ballad, it's getting there tongue.gif

I was thinking about the same thing, since I've had the opportunity to try the UX1 with the Gear Box software. Now, it took an eternity to install and setup and make things work - one of the reasons I totally hate digital devices ...
