GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Calle 13

Posted by: Gabriel Leopardi Nov 7 2011, 09:12 PM

Hey guys! I saw "Calle 13" live. They are a very famous Reggaeton band from Puerto Rico.

Check it out.

In this song you can hear the band "The mars volta" playing the music...

This guy is loved here in Colombia. I personally enjoy the honesty of the lyrics and attitude but the music is not my cup of tea

yeah, I enjoy their Latin rhythms. When I was seeing them live I remembered to Santana at Woodstock in some moments...

I like the way there's a complete mix of Western, Latin and those opening arabic scale phrases in the singing!!

I like some songs, but I think that their strong point is in the lyrics and the rhime...it´s like Eminem, if you do not get the lyric or know the jargon, you miss the essence
