Here is a spiff youtube vid of Meshuggah playing BLEED.

*WATCH THE RIGHT HAND CLOSELY.

Notice how much it sounds like he's doing and how little it looks like he's doing. This is what I"m always on about. The economy of motion of his right hand is impressive. It's got control, speed, planted to the bridge for the mute, the triplets are tight, etc.

It's a clinic. Short and sweet. But a clinic in this type of playing.

These guys are machines, in the greatest way possible. There sense of rhythm is so odd yet incredibly simplistic when broken down, there is nothing like Meshuggah.

I have to agree! smile.gif Just great stuff. Also, just learning one of their tunes would be a great way for anyone to work on right hand technique.
