Hello folks,

I've done a new video for End OF Day from my Serenity Dimension project. What do you think about the transitions and the credit frames?

It's in 720p, for some reason, when I watched it first time, YT went to 360p

Thanks for looking cool.gif

I think the transitions are fine, and I like the idea, as you know. I do have a few points to think about for future projects maybe:

- I felt a bit dizzy in the second scene. Not sure what it was, but maybe something about not knowing where to put my focus and how the water wash pulling back into the ocean. Those are my initial thoughts on that scene, but I can't really put my finger on it.

- I felt the first scene was a bit "crooked" (might be the way it was filmed), i.e. titled where the water hit the horizon higher on the left hand side of the video than on the right hand side. This may cause some instability and people might subconsciously catch on to this unstable-ness.

- Overall I think the scenes could be even more "still". Not completely still, but less activity. They are peaceful already, for sure, but maybe if we're able to focus on one point in the video it would give more of a feeling of "serenity".

This is just my initial thoughts. I really, really like what you're doing, and as I said before, I'm really proud of you, Phil! I hope these thoughts didn't come across as harsh.

Thanks buddy, I never take your critique as harsh, the videos were pulled from a royalty free site so I did my best.

Thanks for your input buddy, I really appreciate it.

Cheers

Ah, I didn't know if you had filmed these yourself.

I can't find exactly what I'm "feeling" from listening to the music and combining it with some watery scenes, but here are some thoughts:

https://www.pexels.com/da-dk/video/natur-hi...strand-6537613/

Not trying to "suggest" what you should do, as it's your creativity and vision that should take you exactly where you want. I just hope to inspire smile.gif

Well that was relaxing 🙂. I thought it was put together nicely and couldn't really find anything I didn't like about it after a couple of views. Transitions appear to be smooth to me and the credit frames seem fine as well. Nice job, Phil! 👍

I'm digging it smile.gif I like the choice of footage and it goes well with the music. You can find a lot of good footage on youtube which you can grab with a youtube downloader in full HD which is handy. Water works well with eveything and the beach imagery is relaxing. Super congrats on putting this all together and and getting it on spofity/youtube/etc. Just climbing that wall can be a challange.

I look forward to other tracks as well. Maybe each one can feature dessert, or mountains just to be thematic?

Todd
