Okay, I deliberately didn't mention "Beato" in the title, I know some of you are fed up with him but this is well worth watching.
I haven't had chance to watch it all yet but the bit I have watched I found very interesting and I don't really know much theory. What do you think? https://youtu.be/efRQh2vspVc -------------------- SEE MY GMC CERTIFICATE “Success is not obtained overnight. Beato has become so omnipresent, sorta like glen fricky or Ola, that there has been a bit of a backlash against him. Success has it's own issues they say
I have always appreciated sting in terms of his outlook and philosophy of music in general. he said something very salient IMHO. "We are all trying to break through the wall" and it's true. The strictures of modern music and especially modern classical music are such that one is hemmed in by them. It takes a new perspective sometimes to create a new approach. its very hard to see past the things holding us back whether it's tradition, theory, etc. As sting said here "modern symphonic music can't get past the 12 tone scale" Su Okay, I deliberately didn't mention "Beato" in the title, I know some of you are fed up with him but this is well worth watching.
