This is vid of local hero JOSH MARTIN of the Atlanta band LITTLE TYBEE (named after Tybee Island off the Georgia Coast). He has a somewhat Jazzy/Alternative style and works on an 8 string through an ORANGE amp. The setup would work great for Djent but works great for this too smile.gif Whaddya think?

I'd love to like the sound of his style, impressive as it is, but I just can't quite get there.

I"m with ya on that. I'm very impressd by his technique but I really wish he'd write something that "felt" a bit more. Seems to be music with very little emotion in it IMHO. Almost a random note structure somehow. I'm sure it makes sense in theory terms but doesn't grab my ear.

I do want to try his techniques here if possible smile.gif
