Hey guys! Have you seen this cool video with Friedman and Gilbert playing together??
What is more curious? Marty's right hand technique or that both speak Japanese?

Both lived in Japan for sometime and Marty still does, he does tons of work for tv shows, game shows, producers, films, they guy is a legend over there more so than the US even.

She is a tremendous keyboards player and she is really beautiful!

I think it's really cool that Marty proves that you can start learning a language later in life and become totally fluent.
Living there does help as well

Marty has his own show in Japan (this is an episode clip from it) it ran for several years and all sorts of killer players stopped by. Paul Gilbert is married to a nice gal he met while living in Japan and Marty has a Japanese wife as well. The Japanese really seem to appreciate Heavy music and fine guitar playing. Gotta love em for it 
Mr. Big was HUGE in Japan, much bigger than in the states and for far longer. Marty is a living legend in Japan and often records traditional japanese folk music with eminent singers of the form. Outside of Japan, that might strike people odd, but in Japan as you might imagine it's quite popular.
