Hi guys,

I'm thinking about buying a mic, but I want to be able to use it for both vocals and micing the amp. I know there are different types of microphones for each purpose but is it possible to get one that does both? If so, what recommendations do you have? My budget is around $100. Thanks!

The models that Victor said are just fine
Those mics are a standard in any studio

Shure Beta are great series. Vocals sound very good and miking the amp to me works better than SM57. It picks more of the warm frequencies. Recently I tried one and I was really happy.

I'm going to buy the SM57 now so I recommend it
