We are judging the takes using the grading guidelines that you can find here:
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=25746 If there is a reason to give the smaller grade, it will be because of the things mentioned there, so if you want to record something, it's best to first check the grades that are defined for the REC. If you follow the rules and record so your take so that the description of your playing is what can be found next to grades 4 and 5, then you will probably pass. This is why I think lots of members pass, because they practice these lessons a lot in order to pass the grading. It's worth noting that the better you rehearse the lesson, more better your playing will get, so it's always a positive thing to do a REC and do it well EDIT: also I think when I read something like: "experienced tone master" or "experienced tone seeker" it really sounds very cool to me, it's a definite proof that these members practiced and can play well This post has been edited by Ivan Milenkovic: Aug 14 2009, 11:12 AM -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
