I have only one Halloween tradition. That is listening to the song Halloween by Helloween.

I don't know if it's a tradition or not but each year my friends and I get together and watch horror movies on Halloween. Tonights selection of movies includes Hellraiser, A nightmare on Elm Street (first one), The Exorcist and of course Halloween. Not sure which ones we'll watch but should be fun.

Horror movies is a definite +1 Rok. The first part in a series for the shocks and maybe one of the naff sequels for a few unintended laughs smile.gif .

Saw 'Hellraiser part 3...' (?) '...- Hell on Earth' the other week. Had me in stitches although not as funny as 'Halloween - Season of the Witch' (think it was Halloween, could easily have been any of them as it had nothing to do with any of them blink.gif ). That really was excreable.

My choice btw for a good Halloween film would be John Carpenter's The Thing.

I have a feeling though that I find bits funny that the producers really meant to be scary. Might be my best friend's fault - he slows down horror films to find the edits and stuff. Like in Halloween where you can see a stage hand slightly off camera throw a cat on to the set if you freeze frame it. Or in Alien you can see the track that the baby alien runs on when it pops out of John Hurt's stomach laugh.gif .

Cheers,
Tony

We're watching the movie "Disturbia" and everytime the Boom mic appears overhead we're downing a shot.

Seriously though it shows up in every other scene. Its amazing how badly that movie is edited.

I'm sitting here dressed as a total redneck right now, mullet and everything. Great home made costume biggrin.gif

Later tonight I'm going to franklin street, it's one of the biggest halloween parties in the country. Something like 5000+ people go down to chapel hill (a town) and they close off the main street, franklin street, til early in the morning. All kinds of people. It's lots of fun smile.gif Tradition around here.

The Thing is a great movie...but unfortunatley my friends are not very cultured in the way of movies. I'm surprised they even went for Hellraiser to be honest. The only reason I got the first Nightmare on there was because I told them Johnny Depp is in it.....didn't tell him how he dies though smile.gif

My friends are not much into horror actually...they scare pretty easy. So it should be pretty fun. They've never seen Hellraiser....gotta love Pinhead!
