Hey guys! Sometimes I like to buy Chinese food... Do you like Oriental Food? What have you eaten?

I LOVE ORIENTAL FOOD biggrin.gif

hmmmm, let's see...

last time, I had Lebanese food about two weeks ago: baba ghanoush (char-grilled eggplant, tahina, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic puree—served as a dip), falafel (small deep-fried patties made of highly-spiced ground chick-peas), diced parsley salad with burghul, tomato and mint(tabouleh) and baklava biggrin.gif my my my...that was soooo good biggrin.gif

My woman and me are preparing chinese these last past months, and I must say that I really enjoy that type of food. It's packed with veggies, goes easy on the stomach, and of course - tasty smile.gif

I thought that chinese food will be more expensive then the usual stuff that we cook, but it's really not, the only thing that costs a bit more is soya sauce, and if you can get that one cheap, it can be pretty cheap and very healthy to prepare it often.

We create lots of variants, but we prepare some variation of sechuan chicken most often, it looks similar to this:

Very easy to prepare, and you can put any type of veggies (or other meat even) you have in the fridge, which is great biggrin.gif

cucumbers, carrots, big peppers, chilli peppers, zucchini, tomato, corn, onion, garlic.. any combination of these veggies are cooked together on some water and soya sauce, then add previously pan-fried meat in, cook some more, add cornstarch to make a syrupy type of sauce from the water/soya sauce, and of course as side dish - cooked rice smile.gif

If you like, you can include pasta with szechuan chicken, instead of rice, it's awesome biggrin.gif

I love fried rice because it is so versatile. You can put shrimp, pork, steak, chicken & also most any type of veggies. I make it a lot but when I make it, I use ground sausage in it. Wow...now I'm hungry! biggrin.gif

biggrin.gif Ivan! We should start a cooking show along with Ben, on GMC! 'Stay lean and play mean! - Proper food for a proper guitarist! That should be the creed we all live by! laugh.gif

Of course, Ben would make the healthy part fade a little, with large amounts of donuts! biggrin.gif

That's not a bad idea at all, although making such funny video could prove fatal biggrin.gif

yeah man! we could have here the section... Cooking Master Class! biggrin.gif with lessons divided in the same way... a main video of you talking about the final meal and eating it.. and then some parts explaining the process.. biggrin.gif
Instead of the Guitar Pro you can make an excel file with the ingredients and the backing would become motivational music. biggrin.gif
