Triplet Etude, Lesson By Piotr Kaczor |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate!
I like the energy of your take. Both the clean and the distorted tones fit perfect with the backing track, and your performance has a good use of dynamics, mostly in the powerful section. When listening to your take, the only relevant issues that I note are what Kris commented about hands sync and missed notes. This problem is more notorious in the clean intro part, but it appears in the second half too. The best way to fix this is to practice at slower tempos, and isolateing the trickier parts to discover what's the picking mechanic that is generating the issue. Start at a comfortable tempo and increase it gradually trying to always keep both hand on sync, and all notes sounding clean and clear. Keep on the hard work. -------------------- My lessons
