Original lesson: TesseracT Style by Cosmin Lupu

More progressive metal smile.gif !

I was looking for lessons in lower tunings so I could use my ESP. This lesson is in drop A and my guitar is in drop Bb, so I transposed the backing track a half step up using audacity.

Memorizing the strange rhythm patterns took quite a while.
50+ takes were required , and its still far from perfect. But i'm pretty happy about this one.

(Also thanks again for your comments on my last take, they really motivated me!) biggrin.gif

Original lesson: GMC Arena Rock by Kristofer Dahl

Hey guys,

I've been working hard on my alternate picking recently. I feel like i'm really improving my technique and that i'm able to keep my arm in a more relaxed state. But for some reason when I record myself I tense up again?

I'm not happy with my timing in the intro part ( the parts with the vocals ). But I decided to upload anyway because this took an embarrassingly amount of takes tongue.gif , and I was pretty happy with the other parts.

Great and fun lesson. I definitely underestimated the difficulty of this one! smile.gif

Original lesson: Progressive Rock Rhythm Lesson by Pablo Vazquez

Hey Guys,

Appreciate your comments on my other videos. I'm working hard on my alternate picking technique and trying to keep my right hand relaxed while playing at higher speeds. But if i'm not actively focusing on relaxing, it will still tense up.

Anyway, for this lesson I chose a progressive rock lesson
Because i'm a big progressive rock/metal fan I felt like I needed to complete a lesson in that genre smile.gif
Some picking runs in this lesson took a time to learn but overall i'm pretty happy how it turned out:)

(Also still fighting with the headphone cables tongue.gif)

Original lesson: Neoclassical Three-Level-Lesson, Intermediate by Marcus Lavendell

This is a very hard one for me. had a lot of trouble with the descending lick starting from the 19th fret. Marcus plays this in Eb, I am in drop D and just play everything a fret lower.

Original lesson: Basic Rock Rhythm #1 by Darius Wave

Hey Guys,

Have been working hard on improving my audio quality. Thanks for the video on my last take Gabriel, it really helped! smile.gif

This is my first recording using reaper.
Also my apologies for the headphone cables. I'll have to figure out a solution for dealing with those mellow.gif

Thanks Darius, for this really cool lesson!
(looking back at your lesson I notice that you use slides instead of hammer ons in the main riff, sorry for missing that)
