I uploaded the first 2 or 3 minutes of this earlier, Just for some help on the solo, Now I would like to know what you guys think of the full song.

Lyrics:

A mind intrigued by complexity
A mind built for the ultimate challenge
He will stop at nothing to know its secret
What lies at the top of the spire

Its intelligence a disturbing presence
Its taste for blood unsettling
A mathematical prowess matched by no being
Its puzzle reserved for only the most arcane thinker
Misjudgement punished, Ignorance admonished

SOLO

I rise to this challenge
I will undermine the alien sentience
My mind and body altered to a hideous state
Fusion of man and machine

My brain undergoes its metamorphosis
My eyes see shapes where there once was none
Thinking in equations and solutions
I notice not what I have become

A voice whispers, Into my sensors
On your shoulders be this burden

He has defied even the allure of sleep
Resorting to a state of continued awareness
Machines calculate and balance a toxic equation

His body has defied even the hand of death
Replace, replicate, regenerate, manipulate
By all means he will conquer this spire

A man unrecognizeable
Beneath a veil of machines
His humanity lost
Somewhere amongst
His desire to succeed
A purpose unclear
A will obscured
His mind not what we knew
His persona erased
Beneath a veil of machines

Diamond Dog

SOLO

A mind intrigued by complexity
A mind built for the ultimate challenge
He will stop at nothing to know its secret
What lies at the top of the spire

Its intelligence a disturbing presence
Its taste for blood unsettling
A mathmatical prowess matched by no being
Its puzzle reserved for only the most arcane thinker
Misjudgement punished, Ignorance admonished

His severed limbs serve only as his mental marker
Of where he left his problems unsolved
I walk away in a tearful stride
Leaving behind what I loved to the spire

whenever I hear a song made by you I can easily identify it, you have made your own style noticeble, congratulations...
The solo is alot better than what I saw earlier, still two descending pentatonic pattern which I don't like cause it sounds so much as kirk hammett but it's your choice, some might like it...The riffs are pure power, that's all I can say...

New file at the top guys, this one has vocals all done for it smile.gif

I even do some "clean" vocals, although its more along the line of a whisper.

Good job smile.gif

Only thing I would do is to play with EQ and volume on lead guitar to stand out, it sounds a bit out of focus (or try to lower the volume of rhythm guitar during solo), the same for the vocals in some parts, while rhythm guitar is great but is dominating the song. So during the listening I heard mostly the rhythm guitar.

You have to decide in each step of the song what has to be in focus smile.gif

Yeah I meant to fix before, I keep forgetting. It doesnt sound too bad on my computer speakers but every other media like my stereo or car stereo its really noticeable.
