I haven't posted any uploads in a while so sorry about that!

This is just how I start firguring out a song on the cuff. My neice really liked this jam when she found it on youtube so when I came home tonight I thought I would give it a go!

Just with the web cam (Logitech pro 9000) so sorry about the poor sound.

Any comments are welcome as usual.

Thanks everyone! smile.gif

Very nice cover! You played it well but there were some timing issues getting it synced to original recording you played to. Try to feel and get more into the groove and strumming patterns.

I like the video smile.gif

Sounds great well done, and I can feel this song made a nice impression on you as well. As far as technical aspect goes (just to mention it, don't want to spoil the moment or anything smile.gif ), I agree with what Bogdan said. A bit more tighter playing and controlled dynamics when strumming would make it sound even better (and more fun of course! smile.gif )

Thanks you guys for taking the time to listen and reply. As you can see from the time stamp on my post it was very late at night when we got home. I heard the song several times over at my brothers house and couldn't get it out of my head. laugh.gif You ever had that happen to you?

Anyway, I couldn't go to sleep because of that and the only way to clear me mind sometimes is to react. So I got up, hit record. I have never worked on this song before and was just figuring it out (1st pass, 1st recording) which is what you watched in the video. That being said, yes it could flow and be much tighter in parts but for a 1st pass guessing things through by ear I'll take this any day. smile.gif

My goal with posting this was to maybe inspire some younger players to work on there ear training and get away from using TABs all the time for everything. Figure out what you can and rely on TABS only when you truly get stuck.

Guess it's not working though. dry.gif biggrin.gif

PS: I was able to clear my head an finally get some sleep after this smile.gif

Take two sound very nice! Its better played in sync and time (though its not perfectly in sync still). This is a hard song to get the strumming and feeling down so you did an awesome job! smile.gif
