Man you have 2 possible solutions. One is hard and you'll possibly need to go to a luthier, The other one is easier but not the certain answer.
This is because of the relief of neck caused by the tunedown. To solve this you need to adjust trus rod. This is hard for a inexperienced player.
The other reason is if you have a floating bridge guitar, maybe the strings balancing the string tension have more pull than it should be. To solve this you have to open the back plate of your guitar and at the neckwards end of the strings you'll see some screws. You need to unscrew to a some degree that relieves your floating bridge. Retune and check all the frets for string buzz. If you have done this that you should your strings can get higher than it should be than you'll do other way.

I'd advice you not to do teh truss rod adjustment yourself, it's a delicate matter.
Also, the buzz maybe caused by low action.
