> IS THAT YOUR MAMA?

Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.

I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:

* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!

* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.

* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.

* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.

* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.

* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?

* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

Hehe biggrin.gif this is your place man! Your thread in which we can discuss all about dropped tunings and other things as well! Why don't you drop me a line or 2 or 3 tongue.gif about what you would like to learn regarding music and guitar and what sort of music are you listening to? Where do you see yourself as a player at this point?

Cosmin

Hey thanks alot cosmin its a great honour for me to be mentored by a great teacher like yourself !!
For me i love hard challenges and songs and for me my goal is to become even better smile.gif
It will take me years to state the bands and the guitarists but im more of a lead kinda soloey kinda person.
i like listening to:Slipknot
Metallica
Steve Vai
Joe Satriani
Paul Gilbert
Breaking Benjamin and the list goes on !
For me il tell you my strong and weak points:Strong: I have really really fast alternative picking !
Great Down picking
Good tapping skills (thanks to Kris's lessons !)
And a good ear !
and im really versatile so i can do real hard stuff.
My weak points:Really weak hybrid picking
Weak improvising skills
And Extremly limited knowledge about theory.
And if i would rate myself according to the lessons here at GMC i would say 7-8/10
Thanks Cosmin for the help your offering ! smile.gif

Hey Moris! I read carefully and I think we should focus in two directions wink.gif

1) Riffing in the styles of the artists you like - I understand you like dropped tunings biggrin.gif
2) Learning how to use theory in your playing - out of what I understand, you have the chops but now you need to learn how to use them smile.gif

Can you show me something you play, a recording maybe? smile.gif Let's start by analyzing some lead lessons around here which you like THE MOST biggrin.gif make a list man wink.gif we can see what's behind them theory wise and how it was applied smile.gif

what do you think?

Cosmin
