Now granted he can make anything sound amazing. But this sound incredible.
He's very vague and careful about what he says about it as it isn't a Gibson ( notice the name of the headstock has been hidden) but a replica '59 made by Israeli luthier Gil Yaron. His guitars are in the price range of $10K.
I haven't heard a Gibson sound as good as this. but unless something truly incredible and miraculous happens in my finances I won't ever own one of these
Killer LP. Obviously got some very convincing PAF-style pickups in there. Authentic ones, not the run of the mill pickups you get with the PAF name slapped on them.
Is it just me that can't see the video? I have seen it earlier though. Indeed this guy makes anything sound amazing.
Fixed
Pete has said as a response to the fact that he can make anything sound awesome, that he only does video demos of products that he really likes.
Beautiful guitar and tone!
Great sounding guitar
Chet Atkins used to tell a great story ...
One night at a club a guy comes up to Chet and says, "boy, that guitar sure sounds great".
Chet puts the axe in the stand and says, "how does it sound now?"
*Granted yes, him and the guitar sound really good. And I'm happy because my Heritage LP is also a more 'toppy' sounding Paul. Nice to see that others appreciate that sound too.
I agree 100% about the low to mid output (vintage style output) pickups. It is 'key' to getting less generic and more personal player oriented tones - no matter what fx or amp you use.
