Just say " Yeah, I know." and leave it at that.

Worry about how you can make someone feel with your guitar,
I know it doesn't sound easy, but it's really what's important, sometimes you only need a couple of notes, and maybe a cool effect -------------------- Visit my:

Funny, I know some of the absolutely most skilled musicians here in Sweden, and I've never heard none of them tlaking like that..... What we are talking bout is MUSIC, not sports or any other thing that can be easily measured. What counts in the end is the ability to transfer your message/feelings to the listener regardless of how You do it, which instrument You play or Your skill level. Daniel has a very good point here, there are some world-class guitar players that actually hasn't got any greater technical skills at all, but developed their own style and can make people absorb the way they feel. Go ahead and make Your own thing and don't listen to crap like this!!!!

Once again, music is an art, there isn't a path where you can go and measure who is better. Making music is about being creative, making an art of playing the instrument, and doing it so you can express yourself, your emotions and view on the world around you.
Bottom line - keep practicing, and stop comparing. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

How should i approach this ? You don't Who cares who is the fastest player/learner? The point is feeling good playing the songs you love, creating your own stuff, growing as a guitarist for the sake of it. Those who play only to impress others will probably quit soon. -------------------- Guitars:

How should i approach this ? easy: show him Kris: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odQb8ylYstg...feature=related if he absolutly wants a battle about fast and good playing he can ask Kris for that! when he is faster than Kris he can make a video-response and we make him compliments and everybody is happy... but that will not happen in the next few years i think... in my opinion kris is really very fast, arent he? -------------------- |
