This is the first custom patch I've made with the new firmware for my AMPERO which lets you change the order of the items in the signal chain. I've put the EQ before the AMP just as I would normally in all of my other setups. Being able to cut the mud out before the gain stage is crucial to get a tight modern metal sound imho.
