Excellent! Keep on practicing those legato lessons. This one is also very efficient: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/legato-stamina/
The analysis is very precise. You used a few words to describe each part and it makes it easier to understand the overall idea. The only thing that I would add there is the minutes/seconds for each part, to be sure that we are talking about the same part, and also to see how much each part lasts and compare... Let's use this video as reference: What do you think of the analysis? Can you understand the composition clearer? -------------------- My lessons

It's cool how they keep the tension in the whole song using D as a pedal note giving this a modal feeling. In this case the mode is aeolian, but this is how modal music is usually arranged. I can say that I'm starting to see clearly their approach to composition. We are ready to a new song, what do you think? 1 more from this band, then 3 from the other and we will be ready to start. Goo analysis mate. I think that the tune is in Am and modulates to Dm in some sections (Part B, and all the ones that has D as the pedal note). As the minor 2nd isn't used when A is the pedal note, we cannot affirm that the part is Phrygian. At the same time, when the song goes to Dm, I can feel an overall feel change in tonality. That's why I think the track has modulations.

Great job Mad, now I find this analysis clearer and more useful. The track is around Dm, and they are using chord from aeolian, phrygian, and sometimes maybe locrian and harmonic minor. This doesn't care too much, it seems that they are just looking for dark combinations of chords and that's what we have to get from this one. Remember those chord movements that you like more and how they sound.
Use this concept to create your own weird progressions around a key. Check also that they usually add some higher notes in the chords to make them sound more dissonant, this is another cool trick. Experiment with it! I think that we are ready for a new one, what do you think? -------------------- My lessons
