Ok Gab, first attempts at 70 bpm

https://soundcloud.com/gmcphil-1/pattern-1-70bpm

https://soundcloud.com/gmcphil-1/pattern-2-70bpm

https://soundcloud.com/gmcphil-1/pattern-3-70bpm

https://soundcloud.com/gmcphil-1/patterns-1-2-3-70bpm

Mixing them together is the hardest, takes a lot of concentration at the moment.

Thanks

Awesome work Phil! You can play these ones at this tempo! There are two next steps:

- Accentuating a bit the notes that go with beat.
- Working on faster backings.

Congrats!

I'm working on the 3rd assignment for 3 days. I'm able to play it correctly at 70/80 bpm on Guitar Pro but not faster at the moment. And with the backing track, it's difficult but I work !

Hi Phil, it's not bad but it requires more practice to sound tighter. Please keep working at this tempo for a few days.

Hi Ann! Thanks for the new takes.

The audio 1 is sounding very good, you are playing four 16th notes tight with the backing at this tempo. Audio 2 is not tight yet, you tend to play the two 16th notes a bit faster than you should so please re-check this pattern. Finally number 3 is better than the previous but there is also some room to make it sound tighter.

Remember to count the four 16th notes internally even for patterns 2 and 3 while you play them. This will help you to play both much tighter.

Practice for 3 days and share a new take.

Hi Gab

I've been working on this assignment each day a little bit. Here are my takes :

- Pattern 1 :
https://soundcloud.com/david-enrique-20/timingexercice3-70-pattern1

- Pattern 2 :
https://soundcloud.com/david-enrique-20/timingexercice3-70-pattern2

- Pattern 3 :
https://soundcloud.com/david-enrique-20/timingexercice3-70-pattern3

I tried to mix them but hum... at a moment, I always lose my points of reference. Maybe I should count 1,2,3,4.

Hi Phil! This sounds better! I can hear improvements here. There is still room to make it sound tighter but it's on the right track. Good job.

Hi Laurent, this sounds good, well done. You can keep going with the following exercises. If possible, record this takes with a cleaner sound to let me hear easier your playing.

Thank you very much, Gabriel. I keep practicing on combining all and also on faster tempos.
Here's a take with the three patterns combined on the backing track but at the moment I can't continue during all the backing track duration, I must work more !
