GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Gold Mine

In my 56th year I just bought a Stratocaster on a trip to San Francisco. I have been playing since I was 11 , but with long breaks. My musical aspirations aren't too high but I still like to play good guitar riffs. So what to do next ..., where do you go to get motivation and inspiration? GMC is in my opinion the best website for guitarists around. The price is reasonable, and the service is improving all the time. I enjoyed a subscription a few years ago, and I definitely did not get disappointed when I returned this time.
Many thanks,
K Ruud, Norway

Hello kruud! Welcome back and we are glad to know that you feel like home with us here at GMC smile.gif

Tell me man, what sort of musical styles do you like? I would like to recommend some riffing lessons but it would be great if you'd tell me what sort of music you are drawn towards wink.gif

Congrats mate! Motivation? There are many ways to get motivation, from books, movies to going exactly to what made you pick up a guitar. In my case, going to concerts, watching live dvds, reading articles, listening to music and being at GMC gives me a lot of motivation to become a better musician and to compose music. Please tell us about you as Cosmin asked and maybe we can give you some more detailed ideas!
