hi there,
could use some feed back on this lesson https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Social-Distortion-Style/
trying to match gabes tone, and its not happening. ill have a pod hd soon. not feeling my amp i use for recording anymore.
the middle section where you play muted chunky power chords judt dont sound right when i play them, and beggining of the tune i cant get that low end sound from hitting low notes before playing the rest of the chord

Hi mate! This take is very close. Good job! Your tone is also getting close, the main difference is that I used less drive compared with your tone, so try to lower it to get a cleaner tone. You'll see how it becomes more similar.

Your playing is also good. The part that needs to be adjusted is the palm muted section which has two little issues. The first one is that the muted 8th notes could be muted a bit more to get a more punky sound. Try pressing more with your palm or also experiment with the position of the palm. If you move it closer to the bridge, you will get a more muted sound. Besides this, I also note that it has some timing issues. It seems that you are hurrying a bit, so try to go tighter.

That's all, as I said, you are very close in both tone and playing with this one. Keep on rocking!
