Could you explain to what extent the copyright limits the further progress of my song? I was thinking that if I copyright it, I won't be able to change it because it's fixed. Also, how much money does a copyright cost, and how flexible is it?

Excellent tracks Alex!, I can imagine them in a film or documental and they would fit so nicely. As others said I'd love to hear them complete, but take your time and follow the advice given here by our expert members smile.gif

Keep at it man, it sounds so good smile.gif

Thanks a lot man smile.gif All these comments really motivate me to strive smile.gif On the other hand all this talk of copyright is depressing, so I'd rather wait until all the songs are complete. You guys will be the first to hear from me... Actually, I think I will just post the songs as .mp3 or something in the GMC only section... Should be a bit safer from theft. smile.gif

Probably best to contact the PRS Alex as they can answer specific questions regarding audio and performance copyright smile.gif , which IME is quite a specialised area of law

You really got talent man! I really like Symphony Of The Sands, could turn into an amazing piece! But like, I think, Ramiro says: I believe not in talent, but in hard work. Think this thread is very encouraging for you to continue on this way smile.gif Don't let you take under pressure, just give the music a chance to be built up in your head.
I'd really want to make orchestral compositions myself, the whole sounds is just so awesome...but yeah, I kind of never find time, or rather take time to make it ;-)
I've seen your friend playing, both of you can be famous, think this would be a nice duo, you write, and he plays it biggrin.gif

Thanks a lot smile.gif All the songs in the video are all over 4 minutes in lengths (Equilux is 8), and I do believe in hard work myself... smile.gif I've actually played a piano/violin duo concert with Laurens smile.gif We decided on a certain funky chord progression and played variations of it throughout the performance... smile.gif His career is music, but I'm going to become a doctor, so it will always be a hobby to me, like it is at this very moment. Thank you for your motivating words, and good luck composing your own orchestral tunes... biggrin.gif

Very cool stuff, I have been trying to get Komplete 6 for awhile but just can't get my money up enough. Keep working on this and you will have some bombastic material.

That's fine smile.gif Interesting, I'm also interested in becoming a doctor tongue.gif but that's not for sure now...
Nevertheless, I'll follow what you will do in the future as well as Laurens! Today I got my first "lesson" of harmony with a friend of mine. He says that I don't necessarily want to be a music theory genius, but he could give me the necessar tools to create music which appeals to me smile.gif
