The Daughter Of The Unvierse

Chapter 16: When Gods Go To War
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Spoken
“It is said, That in ancient times, When nations would go to war, They would declare this war in the name of their God, or for that God. Each nation would do so respectively, Each fighting for their anointed God.....But, What if these Gods, Were to actually go to war, Instead of doing so through Man?

What happens, When Gods go to war?”

~The Prelude~

Collide!
The massive bodies collide!
Bending, molding, the fabric of space and time
The Daughter, utilizing all the phenomena
Black holes, Gamma rays, And starlight to burn

The Olympus armada her new army
Her children fighting once again at her side
Lasers pierce the massive hulls
Supernova shells collapse the absence around them

So many die, On either side
And the “Black Infinity” still fights on
At the helm, she commands
Her creation to once again battle The Nefarious

Riding upon their horses of doom
The anti-god machines

~The Wolves~

Stealth warriors sheer through the hull
Executing the crew one by one
Nothing ever sees them no one ever will
Cloaked in translucency

Their blades slice the flesh
Leave the blood along the walls
The machines dismantle life
Leave a trail of gore through the halls

They reach the bridge, And waste no time
The heads come off the bodies, Effortlessly
Absorb the blood, Compress and process
A new breed of consuming warfare

The Wolves, the scouts of the anti-god
Invisible and merciless
Parasites to a human warship
The Wolves, The poison in the snakes fangs
Injection only means the quickest of deaths
Terror running in the Armada’s veins

~The Captains Sacrifice~

“All cannons forward
Launch the anti-matter brigade
Let the fly the missiles of hell
The fires of Saeshun creation”

Hell envelopes the once quite void of space
A brilliant light of death, and suffering
Illuminates me
Paints the picture of war upon my face

Warnings of incoming destruction
Alerts of strong burning fires
Deep below, A sound that pierces the hull
Wolves seeping in
Like ravenous dogs on the prowl

“What is there for me to do?
What is this ship to become now?
Another plague infested ship
Another clone for The Nefarious?”

“No, I shall not let this happen
And I know just what to do
If I am to die
Then I’m taking me with you”

“I look to the faces, Blank stares of terror
On my the ones I’ve come to love
My shipmates, Like family, So understanding
Forgive me for what I shall so soon do”

“Self destruct!
Accelerate this massive slice of metal hull
Like sword in the chest
Plunging ever so deep into my enemy”

“The last thing I saw
Wolves coming in for the kill
Sleek black carbon fiber bodies,
Blades glistening so unreal”

“Look ahead, My death and yours
You will not over come me
You wont have what’s in my blood
This is one, for what you did to my son”

~Neowarfare~

“Black Infinity” flies across
The newly opened wounds of space
The Daughter using all her strength
Phenomena of creation at her command

Open forth the black hole
Suck in, and dissolve there flagships
Steel gives in so quickly
Folding in like leaves to the wind

Summons a star to collapse
Its form getting ever weaker
And from its corpse, Spew gamma rays
Heat that can melt even the coldness of space

Inside, Another wolf approaches
But her hand, As If a blade,
Separates It
Its body from it head

She shines so intensely
In her moment of tragic unwanted glory
Her eyes speak of a God’s wrath
And her heart beats feverishly

Another ship falls to her comet
So fast the eyes seem not see
An asteroid belt will shred them to pieces
Like fragile beings in a blender

And her eyes caught sight of the captains ship
Accelerating towards it ends
At the moment of impact, At the moment of his death
A tears drops from her eye, Her heart instead cries

~Compress, Consume, Process~

(The Nefarious)
My blade drops from another victim
Coated in there crimson river
In there time of death
These weaklings called humans
So pathetically shout out their cries

Inject my poison, to the brain
Absorb the blood, compress and process
Learning all I can for his majesty
Nothing stops me short of death

Outside the bodies float aimlessly
Crashing, destroyed against debris
Ships are flattened at our will
Supreme entity of evolution

As the laser of cuts through another ship
I’m cursed with the sight of a comrades death
What do they fight for, If so sure to lose?
Death by my blade, Or another Just as soon

~The Grand De-Evolution~

One final effort
One final try
The Daughter shall summon Galios
To emit its fuel, Burn the airwaves clean

Hands folded, Skin once so blue
Now so venomously green
She pulses with that brilliant aura
And her mind leaves her body

Off in the distance, A speck of light
So tiny, Begets the Nefarious’ doom
In a sudden burst of magnificence
Fire so ancient and old
Burns its way through the fuel-less space

The Armada ascends just in time
The anti-god knows not what comes
This fire rolls as if water on a shore
So pure in form, Scourges their force
The Grand De-Evolution

All material is melted away, and all life is left to die
The battle is not yet over, And the war is hardly begun
Just one encounter, of many to come
Like strained, painful intakes of breath

Spoken
“I look upon the remnants of the battle that day, And see the debris that once formed the brilliant construction of massive warships. So many dead, so many injured, so many families left with a wound to live with. Hundred thousand maybe more died that day, But what does it matter, isn’t one life taken enough to make us lament the memory?

Well, Now I know. Without a doubt, The horror, Of When Gods go to war”

Sorry that this is obscenely long, But ill explain why. Basically this part in the story is the first confrontation of The Daughter and The Nefarious and I wanted to make it as Grand as possible, a massive battle that i would try to cover from all angles. Ill explain each.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

The Prelude: Just as it says, Setting the battle up for what is to come.

The Wolves:
This describes a specific warrior group in The Nefarious army. Basically, inspired by the predator movie, They attach themselves to ships, sheer through the hull, and invisibly assassinate the crew one by one, they do so until they reach the bridge, to kill the final crew members

The Captains Sacrifice: So this is the view from a ships captain. He commands his ship valiantly but it is to no avail. Seeing that the wolves have boarded his ship, and know to soon they will reach him, He decided to thrust the ship, as if a sword, into the enemies very own ship. Just as he does, Wolves (the same ones from the section prior) walk in and kill the remaining crew, but before they take them, the two ships collide, in a brilliant explosion.

Neowarfare: Meaning "New Warfare", I envisioned something I thought that was quite unique. Since the daughter creates the universe and all things in it, she would have supreme command of it. So in this section, she summons blacks holes to suck in Nefarious flagships, Collapses a star and hits them with Gamma Ray (Occassionaly when a big star collapses, Gamma Rays shoot forth from it, Power that literally, could scorch an entire planet), And uses comets and asteroid belts to shred the enemy.

Compress, Consume, Process: This is basically what The Nefarious do. Once the kill an enemy, they absorb its "fluids", Or just inject appendages from their hands into a victims skull, while there still alive, and absorbs them, Consumes them, Gathers them as information and processes them for fuel for there army. This also shows how they have no feelings, simply doing so without regret.

The Grand De-Evolution: The conclusion to this battle is one that in my head, is quite an awesome one. The Daughter commands the Olympus Armada (the "good" army) to ascend high above the field of battle, and as they do so, She control her sun, Galios, To send out rolling waves of fire so hot, that they melt space itself, and of course, all the enemy ships remaining, But this is only the first confrontation of many.

Lastly, I tried to connect some of them, as you can tell, to give a feeling of how all this is supposed to be happening so fast

Great.

The Wolves part was my favorite. smile.gif Just how you described them attacking and "ripping human flesh " was well done laugh.gif .

My only complaint is length. Sometimes is if you dont write as much as you do , you leave a little bit open for the reader to infer for themselves about the battle.

But Well Done biggrin.gif

I'm sure in the near future, I'll go back an re-edit this. Believe it or not, I have SO many verses that were originally in there, but i cut them out to shorten it, without loosing too much detail. I know what you mean about leaving for the reading to infer, But its a bit hard with a concept story, that specific events that must happen, Still i try my best smile.gif

I guess if you were doing it as a song though you'd split it into the sections. So the whole song would be that long but then you'd have sections i, ii, iii, iv etc.
