speed picking

hey gmc ryan here.
having a little troube doing speed picking not sure what order to pick in im practising the solo sultans os a swing at free licks and it sounds ok but the last speed licks arnt as fast as they could be. Any hints,tips, would be appreciated cheers :shock

Practice those licks with the metronome and try some picking movements out.
Look carefully at the vids from Kris.

And (afcourse) you can always just practice it with alternate picking and if you get confused just start off slowly again and built the speed up but make sure you don't get confused again :wink: laugh.gif

yeah its kind easy to get confused, best to build speed up than make it sound unclean and well, crap, its always about practise cheers for the comments
