'Ello! All you mighty people out there cool.gif

Some people have created a song a day thread, now I've decided to create my very own ohmy.gif, but with a tiny adjustment, I'll only use instrumental songs/pieces!

Cheers!

And the first one will be!!
...
A wild donut rolls by!

Okay so I found this guitarist named Francesco Artusato a few weeks ago or so. Apparently hes the guitarist of some band called 'All Shall Perish' I've heard of the band but never heard any of their music! But I do like hes instrumental stuff, so maybe I should check out the band, anyways! This one is called Chaos and the Primordial from hes album Chaos and the Primordial (2011) - first track on the album.

Small World! I was just at an ALL SHALL PERISH Gig here in Atlanta when they came with HATE BREED. Some really great guitar playing in that band. And well chosen on this pick as well!

This is one of my favorite songs from this album, and the album itself is one of my top two or three favorite instrumental guitar albums! Thanks for posting! Paul Gilbert was awesome as well and shows a very different sound and style for him! smile.gif

The Aristocrats with Mr. Guthrie Govan on guitar, Bryan Beller on the bass & the mighty Marco Minneman on das drums! With... Sweaty Knockers 2nd track on their album The Aristocrats from the year 2011, probably one of my personal favorite instrumental fusion albums! And probably my favorite trio of all time, excellent musicians!

Lets hear it live ! biggrin.gif

That sounds amazing! Thanks! Always great with something new and good! biggrin.gif

Next one will be! An instrumental song by a really great progressive metal band!

Drum roll..

Dream Theater! This song is called 'The Dance of Eternity', from their album Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory (1999), 9th track on the CD this is also the part 1 of the 7th scene on the CD the 2nd part of the 7th Scene features Vocals & it can be found on YouTube if you search for 'Dream Theater - One Last Time'

Yeah a great song, a bit different from a lot of his others song, it has that melody in the beginning but most of the song is just an entire nice jam! biggrin.gif

nice one
so fun to play
runs all over the fretboard, yet doesn't punish you with crazy fast runs or stuff (except that live version with the sweep stuff)
