Or at least the first 1/4 of it or so. I have been struggling with the middle section and end of this song which I want to use a lot of acoustic stuff that is as of now, Just a bit beyond my reach. So I'm uploading the first part of it to see what you guys think of it. Pretty heavy tune, with some nice octave-y riffs and plenty machine gun drums.

Lyrics, as usual.

The Once Exalted Seraphim
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

I, The son of Gods
I, The ruler of Hell
Once exalted Seraphim
I've renounced my faith

I, The betrayer of light
I, The bringer of death
Doomed to be a heretic
Chained to a frozen throne

I, The God of ice
I, The demon of fire
Left to rot for eternity
Vengeance shall be mine

I, Lucifer
The betrayer of God
Savior to humanity
The rightful God in the sky

Yeah, very heavy. This double kick drum is like a machine gun smile.gif You need 4 pedals for that.

The only thing I couldn't hear is the bass guitar. Is there any?

No, there isn't any. I don't have a bassist or a bass guitar so thats something I REALLY need and want. It would do wonders for the mix I think.

Try at least to program some MIDI bass lines. It will sound great. I like the drums and vocals, sounds great! smile.gif

Wow this was mighty - well done!

I agree with Ivan you should add midi bass - that's actually one of the fake instruments that work best for metal. Usually bass isn't that audible in this kind of music.

Another thing which would make th emix cooler - was if you slightly changed the velocity of each snare hit. It would make it sound more like areal drummer.

It's great to see hear your songs are only getting better and better!

I like the music, very heavy smile.gif

I don't listen to "growl" music so I can't comment on wether you are good or bad at it unfortunatly.

Its kinda irritating really, I usually love the heavy riffing and the sound of death metal (and similar metal subgenres) but I just can't stand growl vocals which unfortunatly makes it impossible for me to listen to this kind of music. But when it comes to everything *but* the vocals everything sounds great except that it might need some bass.

Here is the newest version with a section of solos added to it, Some minor differences in the mixing and some added stuff here and there. I really like the backing for the solos to, so try and listen to that as well smile.gif

If you just want to skip to the solos if you have already heard the song, they start around 4:10
