This idea is inspired by Rob Chapman's collaboratively designed guitar. If the GMC community were to collaboratively design a guitar, what would it look and sound like?

You'll notice I didn't put every single option available - thats just not possible. I've limited it to the most common options available. Sorry, there shall be no bubinga bodied guitar here. Plus I'm limited to only ten questions, so I'm sure I've left something out.

I knew mahogany would be leading, but not by this much... No alder or swamp ash fans out there?

After voting it strikes me that the result becomes completely random biggrin.gif

A HSH Mahogany LP, neck through, with Maple neck and a Floyd Rose. Kind of funny since I asked for a Charvel like super strat and out came something completely different. This machine is broken laugh.gif

Well the thing is there are two different types of Strat bodies, and if you add up the votes for both of them the Strat shape wins. I should have divided up the Les Paul shape as well, into regular and ESP Eclipse style.

I voted for swamp ash! smile.gif

Thank you, some diversity!
