I've been reading about this od pedal but I have yet to see one in the wild to test it. It's got a 100hz boost/cut knob which is killer, since that is where bass frequencies bunch up and make your amp sound muddy. It's also got a voicing button in the middle to chance the tonal output. Anyone tried this? It looks like it might just be amazing

I use one.
I find it to be really great at heavier tones for low volume 'live' work, especially theater and Broadway show type stuff. That 100 hz control really helps (me) to dial in the mids for a believable hard rock sound at quieter levels. -------------------- - Ken Lasaine

Here's another one that has great mid-sculpting abilities though it's a lot more expensive ...
https://www.xacttone.com/products/atomic-overdrive.html Super well made, boutique and really does turn a super clean Fender style (tube) amp into anything from a late 60s Plexi to a modded JCM. *You do need to be pushing a bit of volume for this one to shine. -------------------- - Ken Lasaine

Thats a neat page but not exactly "reference quality" clips. On soundcloud/youtube, you can hear some better examples.
