Actually I listen to his songs and he doesn't abuse the speed limit, that was strange for a guy who broke the world record.

This has been discussed here before, some people think it is fake, I don't it looks real to me however I dislike his picking. At 170 bpm I hear uneven timing, at 230 I hear the same thing. Then when it gets to ridiculous speed, I really can't tell what he is doing, it is way to fast to even distinguish if he is being accurate or not.
I am a fan of steady picking, fast but steady and with dynamics. That is why I love Paul Gilbert's shred, maybe not the fastest, but incredibly steady controlled and accurate.
