I don't have the physical iLok just the software one, I might uninstall the lot and start again as there are bits from a few years ago on there, maybe some update mismatch?

I like resolve
 Sadly it's even more complicated than media composer as it's not really a non linear editor, it's really a color correction suite. I shared it on GMC when they first released it as free. Sadly, the hardware requirements are a bit stiff and at least once GMCer sorta bricked her laptop briefly.
