Ballad Soloing - Neal Schon

I can't remember how I came across this very good cover of Neal Schon's Big Moon, but i thought i would share it as I can't stop listening to the phrasing and dynamics he has (both original and cover).

I honestly didn't know who Neal Schon was at first....but wikipedia comes in handy! He was in the band Journey. But I got some of his albums today and can certainly recomend "Beyond the Thunder"

i believe he is using AXE FX 2

Yea I was very impressed with his articulation and subtle phrasing. Not mainly my style of music, but, i have been listening to Neal Schon for 3 days non stop now ohmy.gif)

Its great isn't it... He has an original song called AMEN which is beautiful.
