Yes it is possible to get your guitar to sound better with fret polishing job, but it has to be done by an expert. If the guy is good than it's probably OK.

That's a good recommendation mate, if so I think your guitar is safe in his hands. I think it's worth doing a fret polishing for 20$, if you have any buzz issues. What he will do is take a small layer from the frets in order to make them more even. This process can be repeated 5-10 times (depending on the frets) before you have to do a complete refret job.

I'm going to buy a new one much sooner than 4 evening out jobs.
I'm glad i made the right decision cause i was standing there in his place and i just couldn't tell if his just trying to make some more money or is it really a good recommendation

If they need polishing then get hem done, if your Guitar doesn't sound right and is buzzing it'll put you off your Practice! If it's all Set-up properly and playing properly then your Practice will be far more efficient and effective!!!

If your frets aren't even that job has to be done because otherwise the next step is re-fretting the neck and that's more expensive (of course you'll have to do it in a future eitherway).

Just got my guitar down to the local guitar shop to have them fix some buzz I've been having due to the frets not being as they should as well as some other problems, so I'm looking forward to having it set up a lot better.
