Broken Effects Loop?

As some of you may know, I just bought ReCabinet in hopes of hooking up my amp directly to the computer. Well, my main amp (a mesa boogie f-30) needs new tubes I think. But I also have a mesa f-50 head and cab (looking to sell, if anyone is interested) laying around, and I decided to lug that over to the computer and try it, but all I get is a scratchy fuzzy sound coming out of the daw. It makes this signal in the daw even when the amp's volume is turned all the way off (and gain), the guitar's volume is down, the amp can be on standby and it will still make the signal. I've tested each amp and they both work fine, gearbox and podfarm both work fine as well with just the guitar plugged in. You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick. And if you're doubtful about the Line out you could listen with headphones straight out from it, if you hear the same buzz and fuzz you do in the DAW it's safe to say the Line out isn't working. Yes this makes sense... Also, Line out usually doesn't produce very good sound on it's own, not sure how good is speaker emulation on it tho..
