A Funeral For Sarah
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
She lay motionless upon her bed
Arms wrapped tightly around her knees
Body embraced by the pale winter light
Fighting it's way through the windowpane
Tears are dancing swiftly around her cheeks
But for how much longer can she cry?
Minutes pass by like years
Memories tear at her like fresh new wounds
In sorrow she finds the remains of existence
For she is afraid of what the world has become
A self inflicted punishment
Becomes the only way to live
Never to open herself up
Digging her grave for her funeral
SOLO
She lay motionless upon her bed
Arms wrapped tightly around her knees
Taken in by the warm summer light
Crawling it's way through a broken windowpane
Her eyes star unblinking into a void
Too dry to cry anymore
Time has stopped and existence ceased
A Body reduce to a frail shell in sleep
Rose are layed upon her descending coffin
As we all cry at a funeral for sarah
