But since no one ever hears me play I figured this would be the best place so get some feedback, theres a few mistakes with bends and stuff but I oh well I realize its not great or anything so I'd really like to here some honest opinions and some constructive criticism. Can't wait for you're next lesson btw. I figured out how to watch them now so it'll be much less hassle from now on. Sorry that you had to do all that converting and myspacing. I'm really happy that I joined this site, I havn't really gotten into the video lessons too much yet since I find even some of the beginner ones quite hard, but I find the forum really useful especially all the uploads and collabs for getting ideas. I like the fact that you stayed in your "skill range" and didnt attempted to do fast stuff. I also think that you should add very strong vibrato to long lasting notes, that will give it more feeling. Also, if you're not using Alternate Picking, I recomend you start using strict Alternate Picking immediatly. Remember, Practice practice practice! Mar 7 2008, 05:36 AM	Singing Instructor Posts: 3.391 Joined: 23-January 08	wont give you any advice for playing...me not a guitarist ...but you can try to put you keybord padin the midfle or try to spred it around and guitar shouid be in thye middle...becuse it is a solo on a guitar...so you can try that if you want..I think it would be better that way....:)and thanks for up louding.... I can understand the problem of lead voice on the left, for I use Garageband too ... The ideas for the melody on the pentathonic are fine, just try practicing on bonding the notes one to another.... So, now that you've broken the ice, looking forward for your contribution to my "chick collab" idea and hope other girls will follow your example! (included me ) cheers! I also think you need to add more vibrato, and work a bit on the bends, they are sometimes off key. I think the phrasing is pretty good actually. Posts: 2.700 Joined: 18-March 07 From: South Wales, UK	I like how you've got a melody running through- i can hear the same idea cropping up here and there- and thats definitley a good thing..repetition is a fairly easy way to make good music. One suggest i might throw in is to learn a lick or two. Im guessing that when you were playing this you just went from note to note trying to make it sound as good as you could, but a great way to spice it up would be to learn maybe two licks really well ( plenty of nice bluesy licks to choose from here) and try and bring them in to your playing. Soon you'll be addicted and will want more and more licks to build up your library- and your recordings will sound ace.
