GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Something New For 2016

Posted by: Chris Harrington Feb 25 2016, 12:49 PM

Hey Everyone!

I hope 2016 is being good to you all and your all enjoying your playing/practice.

I've started a new 'Lick of the Week' series for 2016 over on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCk08DViXKWnjYrHa0Hn8gfg. The idea being that when we practice/jam there are phrases that get stuck in our muscle memory and dare I say we recall them a little too often. I'm using these videos as a way of 'releasing' them into the world and seeing what new Licks come by each week.

The videos are short playthroughs with a slowed down version, tabs in the description, Enjoy! biggrin.gif

Thanks Phil,

I've got some lessons coming soon that will be focused on bridging the gap between earlier levels and some of my previous lessons. Hope these will be of help to you and others here.

Thanks bleez, some of those backing tracks are pretty inspiring to play over. Some great material to use on youtube I especially like a channel called RandomJammer his blues backings are great!
