Anyway, to the point I just wrote this yesterday not really on purpose at all, my recording gear is defenetly not the best, and I know in the recording that I hit the bass notes a little to hard, but please I want feedback and if you have any riffs to add to it pleease!!! let me know~! wink.gif

The past week my family and I took a trip from the US to Mexico! biggrin.gif We stayed at the Qualton in Ixtapa. The last time I've been there was in the fourth grade, so I had a lot more to do this time. There was parasailing, jet skiis, snorkalling, "bannana" boat (a rubber raft shaped like a hotdog or bananna) There was the ocean right next to us with a pool too. Free food and drinks pretty much whenever. wink.gif I did everything there was to do except swim with the dolphins, which I did previously, but yeah I had a lot of fun there. I tipped the bananna boat over when we were about 300 feet off the shore, scared everyone, me too! laugh.gif

I just got two new pairs of strings as I am still planning to re-string my guitar. I wanted to try some pretty light strings, so I went with .08 .11 .14 .22 .30 .38 Now, are they going to be too thin and break easier? And will it have some sort of strain release on my neck and damage my guitar?

Lets hear it, you current top three favorite guitar riffs of any type, here are mine:

1. As My World Burns - Kataklysm ~ Intro (I love that riff, it gets me going every time I hear it!) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=wekDULTvGdU
2. Round and Round - Ratt ~ Intro and Verse Both (Great song, and can't stop listening to that part) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=a5gMeXz2YMw
3. Historical Failure - Our very own Kris and Marcus! ~ Intro (The beginning is really great, I always catch myself playing it!)

I have a taste for intros tongue.gif So what are yours????

Okay so I made this thread for many reasons. I would like to know how to improve playing by ear and making out each indivudual note... What songs are easier to learn by ear than others? What is the easiest and fastest way to develop relative pitch? Also... I have heard a rumor that it is physically impossible to train your ear to have perfect or absolute pitch, and that you must be born with it. Is that true!!? Hope not... dry.gif

Last question, how many gmcer's have perfect pitch!!? Any tips for training your ear better??
