Seems I remember Deeproots (I think ) saying that an LP has more of a Trapazoid looking inlay, these look rectangular. Was that the way they were back in the 50's and just evolved?

I think most LP customs i have seen have had rectangular inlays.. but some of the newer models have trapeze
