If stage monitors are active, there is no reason to get powered snake there (unless they draw power from the very same cable). Usually active monitors have separate AC cable.

Does it work? I mean, is there a signal from the mixer on the monitors?

Looks like the setup is correct, and should work. Not sure why it doesn't..

Is the setup actually working, when you connect monitor outs>snake>monitor in?
