Looking For That Good Old Tube Fuzz

I currently own an AVT Marshall Head hooked up to a MG Lead cab 120watts amp/cab. It produces a sound that I enjoy (could be better with cash lol) however, it doesn’t produce that good fuzz/distortion as a jcm amp or jvm. I have switched from OD1 to OD2 and it kind of helps however, it gives way to much feed back and is a pain to control while switching from lead to rhythm. Is there a pedal or a type of set up to enhance the fuzz/distortion? I’m looking for a good rock/blues sound. Any suggestions?

Question On Hot Rod Pickups/amps

If anyone could post me a link or explain what a "hot-rod" pickup/amp is?? I have been looking crazy on the net to get more information on it and no luck… I keep pulling up hot rod cars and it’s driving me nuts lol.....

New Amp Considering New Cab

I recently purchased a new Marshall AVT150H Head and wanted to know what Marshall cab would fit very well with this amp? I'm into all types of genres but mainly support the 70's-80's tone ranging from rock n roll to hairbands such as motley crue. Any suggestions?

Epiphone Lp-100 Electric Guitar

I have an Epiphone LP-100 Electric Guitar and wanted to know if it’s possible to replace the pickups on it with Seymour Duncan pickups? Instead of throwing it away or blowing it up I rather try to make something out of it.

Question About A Mira Guitar.

I received a PRS Mira guitar for the first time and wow she’s amazing!! I love how the body and shape of this guitar and especially love the coil tap ability. There is only one tiny issue with it, the pickups are way to sharp and I want more of a muddy sound sort of like a Les Paul. So here is the question, is it possible to pull out the pickups from my Mira and replace them with other hum bucking pick ups that would give it that muddy sound? Or could the pick ups be messed with a professional to produce that muddy sound? These are all the questions that run through my head because I really do not want to get rid of this guitar body.
