Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Sack!

Yes, this is not an easy lesson if you are not used to this type of chords and guitar lines. I can see that you can play everything very well here. All chords and lines sound clean and clear. If I have to find a difference between this take and the original, maybe it's that there is some more dynamics work on Chris's take, but honestly this is a very consistent take, amazing performance.

Try to keep this one in your diary practice to improve the feel of the second part, and to make this licks of your own.

It's a 9! Congrats!!

Hey there! It's a lovely lesson. Chillful and calm.

You did good job overall. The trick with this kind of playign is itt requires specific kind of sensitive touch. It is not a simple parameter you can write donw and easily apply. It's a thing you work out with years of playing. You did good with what you could at this point. You lack some of the smoothnes on faster runs, and you use brighter tone. I'm not sure how to refer to this because I personally prefer to use bright tone...especially if there already is something taking to lower mids field in the mix - like el-piano in this case. Anyways...you would probably need to practise some more of very soft,m yet accurat picking. Probably:
1. Strictly straight pick to the string angle
2. minimum pick squeeze so it will freeely compensate strength differences and keep even tonality of the notes.

Wow the chordal work here is pretty much impeccable. With timing, tone and dynamics totally spot on!

We don't see quite the same level of control in your lead playing - with some slight hand sync issues and not quite as relaxed timing. But it's still a very powerful performance over all.

Well done - you get an 8 from me!
